Bible Study and Prayer

Playgroup

 

Our playgroup is a group for Mums, Dads, Aunties, Uncles, Grandparents & friends who come along with children, aged from babies to 5 years old.

It is run every Monday during School Terms

9:30 - 11:30am

with play time, craft, painting, playdough, morning tea, outside play, 

story time and music.

18 McIntyre Close Port Macquarie

It is a Ministry of our church. The Leaders and Helpers have completed Safe Churches training and Working with Children Checks (WWCC).

 The Coordinator is up to date with training run by 

the Baptist Ministry Association.

We believe playgroup should be a safe place for families to find support, friendship and experience God's love for them, 

just as we have experienced God's love for us.

Regis Ministry

 A church service is held once a month on the

3rd Tuesday at 11-11:30am

at the Regis Aged Care facility

Sherwood Rd in Port Macquarie.

If you would like to help out then contact David Jonas 

Craft Group

 Our ladies craft group runs every Wednesday 12.30 to 2.30pm 

during School term. 

We ask for a $2 donation towards material costs, etc.

We offer card making classes each week which have 

a small fee for the kit.
Other craft activities include embroidery, Pergimano and quilting, 

or just bring what you are working on.

Community Garden

 The Port Baps Community Garden was started 9th June 2012. 

A Community Connect grant of $5000 was received from 

Baptist Care as the initial start-up funding.
People are able to come and garden at any time in their allocated plot.

We meet on Thursday mornings at 9.30am for morning tea. 

It’s the time to get together with fellow gardeners to have a chat, 

and swap plants and ideas.
There are no charges but people are encouraged to give a donation 

to the church to help with water rates.

Men's Music Shed

 We meet on the 1st Thursday of each month

at 2.30 - 4.00pm in the Church Hall.

We play mostly country music and play guitars, ukuleles, bass, 

drums and other interesting instruments.

We also enjoy a cuppa and a chat.

Grounds and Maintenance

We have been blessed with wonderful grounds and facilities at 

Port Macquarie Baptist Church

Our current Property Team consists of Alan Barker, Geoff Bond, 

Doug Crawford, Stuart Darcy, Rod Noble and Peter Tuckett.‍
New members, or even casual help, are always welcomed.

We meet on Thursday mornings 7.30 till 10.30am.

followed by Coffee and a chat.

PM BUGS

 PM BUGs (Port Macquarie Baptist Ukulele Group) 

meets at the church on 2nd, 4th and 5th Fridays 

of each month from 10-11:30am.

We welcome all abilities and have fun playing together 

in this very supportive group.

Supported Missions

We support Ben and Petra, and their children Bryce and Lachlan, 

as they work with Baptist Mission Australia
 among the K people in the Silk Road Area.
Ben teaches English and Petra uses her Occupational Therapy training 

to help disabled children.

We support the Reyes family, Mauricio and Michelle, Serena and Josiah, as they work amongst the Mbya Guarani people of Paraguay,  translating the Bible into Mbya Guarani language, teaching 

the Bible and sharing the love of Jesus there. 

Mauricio and Michelle were at PMBC for many years 

before being on Mission in Paraguay.


 Baptist Mission Australia

We support May Mission Month, raising awareness 

and financial support for Baptist Mission Australia.

    

Baptist World Aid.
We support Lawrence, a 13 year old boy, who is living 

with his family in Uganda.

Our Christmas Day Offering goes to BWAID.


Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Child Boxes.
Each year a group come together to sew clothes, pack toys and educational items for the boxes. Our church acts as the packing and holding point before they are sent to Sydney. 

Our Library

With over 1400 books, as well as CDs, DVDs and magazines, 

our Library is a wonderful resource. 

Book Categories include Apologetics, Bible Studies, 

Christian Biographies, Christian Living, Commentaries, 

Devotionals, Eschatology, Evangelism, History, Missions 

and several others including a Christian Fiction Section.

Our Library Coordinator is Dianne Tuckett.

Men's Ministry

Men's Breakfasts Program will continue in 2025. 

Our goal is to offer men of all ages a chance to encourage one another over a bacon and egg roll, and to hear from one another 

on how to know and follow Jesus in our current social climate. 

All are welcome, and details are as follows: 

Time: 8-9:30am   Cost: Gold coin donation
